By accessing or using SealGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SealGuard is a digital seal management platform for licensed professionals. The Service allows professionals to apply tamper-evident digital seals to PDF documents, manage the live status of those seals, and provide public verification of sealed documents.
The Service is intended for use by licensed professionals (architects, engineers, surveyors, and similar) and their authorized firms. By using the sealing features, you represent that you hold a valid professional license in the jurisdiction(s) where you practice.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password and MFA device. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
SealGuard is an authority and record-keeping tool. It does not replace your professional judgment, your licensing board's rules, or legal counsel. You are solely responsible for the professional content of any document you seal.
When you apply a seal, SealGuard creates a permanent, publicly verifiable record. You control the live status of your sealed documents (authorized, on hold, revoked, or superseded). Revocation is your professional statement that a document is not authorized. SealGuard publishes only the status you set.
Paid plans are billed monthly. Seal allowances reset at the start of each billing month and do not carry over. Revocations are unlimited on all plans. Pricing is subject to change with notice.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store the content of your sealed documents beyond the seal metadata and verification records required to operate the Service.
SealGuard is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your sealed documents remain publicly verifiable (the verification pages persist), but you will no longer be able to apply new seals or change document status.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
